What we look for

  1. I.

    You know your trade

    Real experience on the tools — carpentry, finish work, kitchens and baths, decks, or the hundred small jobs in between. You can show it, not just say it.

  2. II.

    Your work speaks

    Photos of recent jobs and a reference or two who'll pick up the phone. That's the whole interview.

  3. III.

    You show up

    Own tools, reliable transportation, on site when you said you'd be. The site stays clean at the end of your shift.

  4. IV.

    You deal straight

    If something's wrong, you say so early. That's how we work with clients and it's how we work with each other.

In return: steady work on jobs across DC, Maryland, and Virginia, a small crew that has your back, and an owner who's on the job — not behind a desk. Pay depends on what you bring; we'll talk about it like adults.
